Director Terence Young, Audrey's old friend wooed her in this film based on the Sidney Sheldon's potboiler in which she played an heiress stalked by a killer. Miserable in her crumbling marriage  to Andrea Dotti, from whom she divorced after finishing the film, midway through the shooting, Audrey realized that despite the stellar international cast the film was a  horrible and degrading experience and wanted to get out of it. But she was under contract and had no choice. The critics and the public did,  and the film was a total flop. The only reason to watch it it is to see Audrey.
